The details, in plain language.
Proposed product and subscription terms for review before public launch.
The product
Soona is intended for English dictation and rewriting on Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later. Speech recognition and rewriting run on your Mac after the required models download. Availability and performance depend on your hardware, permissions, and the receiving app.
Trial and subscription
The planned offer is a 7-day trial, starting after setup and email-code sign-in, with no payment card required. After the trial, paid access is $8 per month or $72 per year. Each plan includes unlimited local dictation and rewriting on two Macs for the account holder.
A paid subscription renews at its chosen interval unless renewal is canceled. Cancellation should stop the next renewal while access continues through the paid period. Final checkout must show applicable currency, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions before payment. Billing is not enabled in this website preview.
Account and offline access
Keep access to your account email secure. Sign-in, model downloads, and periodic subscription checks require internet access. Paid access can continue offline for up to 30 days after a successful check, limited by the paid-through date plus 7 days of grace. Trial access remains limited to its 7-day period.
Your content and review
You retain your rights in the audio and writing you provide. You are responsible for having permission to dictate the content you use. Recognition and rewriting can produce errors or change meaning. Review output before relying on it or sharing it, particularly names, numbers, and consequential statements.
Reasonable use
Use the app and service lawfully. Do not interfere with the account or billing service, abuse sign-in or device registration, or attempt to access another person’s account. Unlimited local use describes dictation and rewriting on your licensed Macs.
Changes, cancellation, and refunds
Any future changes to pricing or material subscription terms should be communicated before they apply. The final terms must specify a working cancellation route and refund policy, while preserving any non-waivable rights required by applicable law.
Third-party software
The app and its models may include open-source or separately licensed components. Their applicable notices and licenses must be supplied with the app. This website uses Geist under the SIL Open Font License; its license is included in the site assets.
Before these terms can take effect
The operator must finalize legal and contact information, payment-provider terms, service availability statements, liability provisions, dispute arrangements, and required consumer disclosures. This draft has not completed that review and is not ready to serve as a binding customer agreement.
See the draft privacy notice for the intended data flow and CompareCompatibilitySupport for practical product help.
